#1 Vet in Wandsworth, Greater London
All Creatures Veterinary Surgery describes itself as an independent practice, with in-house facilities and 24/7 digital vet support via a partnership with VidiVet. Reviews frequently describe proactive follow-up (owners say they’re called with test results and checked on after illness/procedures) and clear explanations during consults. Specific care mentioned includes dental extractions for an elderly cat, thorough annual check-ups with practical preventative advice, and support through end-of-life euthanasia.
A small number of recent reviews raise serious concerns, including a report of a missed diagnosis (eye problem later identified elsewhere as entropion) and allegations of upselling/charging for services without consent; other reviewers, however, describe the clinic as good value compared with corporate chains and cite careful precautions around surgery.

I can only say how happy we have been with the veterinary care our dog Bo has received and I only have good words about this very professional and friendly practice. The vets are very efficient and explain everything so nicely. Bo loves the nurses and reception staff, they always find time for him and he is very happy to see them and they have a wonderful bond together.

Cannot recommend this vet enough! Firstly I’m always one to support an independent but secondly they really are great! We just had our annual checkup for our dog and it was really thorough and some nice practical advice for things we can do to keep on top of things. Being an independent practice really makes all the difference - the care and attention we receive is truly exceptional. The entire team is so kind and thoughtful, and they genuinely care about our dog’s wellbeing. The best testament to how wonderful they are is that our dog absolutely adores going there! So much so that we actually have to avoid walking past because she gets so excited and tries to drag us in. When your dog loves the vet, you know you’ve found somewhere special. Keep doing what you’re doing! Special shout out to Mandy, Jane and Nicola for the help, care and dog cuddles today!

I recently transferred the care of my 17 year old cat from a well known veterinary chain to All Creatures Vet and I couldn’t have made a better decision. My sweet girl finally received the proper treatment and she’s now running and jumping as if she were 15 years younger. A special thank you to the wonderful Dr. Prigitano, who cared for my cat as if she were her own.

The best experience ive ever had with a vet. From the level of care, experience of staff, to pricing, everything has exceeded my expectations. I brought in a very old and delicate 19 year old cat, which needed many teeth extracted. Not only did All-creatures beat my previous vet (medivet) in price by a huge £500, they also showed a consistent level of both genuine love, and care which i have not seen before from previous practices. Also despite being cheaper, more precautions were put in place both in preparation and post surgery than my previous vet offered. Overall i am very happy that i came here and very grateful to the entire team.

I really cannot speak highly enough of the team at All Creatures. We moved to them from a well know vet chain earlier this year and the difference is immense. The care they show is not just exceptional during visits, but the follow-up service too. I have never had to chase them for test results and they proactively call to follow-up and see how our cat is doing, which is so appreciated. I would also add that I think they are far better value for money, not just because they go the extra mile, but because the services in-house feel much more reasonably priced. During visits this year they have found the root cause of some long-standing issues and identified extremely early-stage CKD so we could start appropriate treatment. I have always dreaded vet visits before, but I feel in such safe hands here. My cat will never ‘enjoy’ vet visits(!) but she is far less stressed than previously and they handle her with such consideration and kindness. I would highly recommend them – a truly great find for us and I wouldn’t take my girl anywhere else now.

In my experience this practice is more interested in money than your pet (as others here have noted). We had a good experience with a young vet who treated our rescue cat for parasites, but the older lady seems only interested in getting as much money as humanly possible. We took the cat in for an increasingly deteriorating eye condition. Vet diagnosed an infection and gave human antibiotic treatment. It didn't work and the cat continued to deteriorate to the point that he was sleeping all day, suffering, and just opening his poor eyes long enough to eat. I have had this vet before and a consultation for jabs ended up costing us way more than quoted as she proceeded to empty our pets glands without asking if we wanted this and tried to sell us other services. We had tried to avoid her since then. Anyway, I took the cat to a vet at Blue Cross who immediately diagnosed feline entropion (ingrowing eyelashes) due to the cat having just been neutered. A common and easily diagnosed condition. He had an op and is now as right as rain. The first vet did not even use a light on his eyes to diagnose correctly, and the £60 plus medication appointment was a complete waste. Vet's should not let animals suffer needlessly because of their ridiculous thirst for money. I emailed them last week asking for more flea treatment for the same cat who is still registered and was seen less than a year ago. They eventually answered today, mentioning completely the wrong pet who had not been seen within a year and trying to get us in for another expensive consultation. We all need to pay our bills, I am not paying yours when you refuse to do your job.

Compassionate, kind and helpful staff who you can tell truly care for the animals they look after. Our dog, Sherry, has had several health issues since we rescued her and I am so glad we chose All Creatures as her vets - they always make time for a quick call or email too if we have questions and check in regularly with us if Sherry has been poorly.

I wanted to write a quick review about the kind, thoughtful and incredibly dedicated staff of All Creatures. They have looked after our cat, Boy, so diligently and with expertise and care for the past few years, through a range of health issues. We recently had to have Boy put to sleep at the ripe old age of nearly 18, and everyone at the clinic, from Mandy on reception through to the incredible vets, Anders and Nicola (and everyone else there too) were so considerate and professional. We are incredibly grateful to them all and cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you, and much love from Andy and Janey
